OALC:
2x 6 mins @ 24kg; 8 rpm

Run: 20 mins

Made a point to keep my breathing cycle going and I flew through these two sets. I wanted to do another but opted for a run instead. It is amazing what a little breath can help you get through. Definitely need to keep running.

LC:
3 mins @ 2x24kg; @ 8 rpm

OALC:
4 mins @ 32kg; 8 rpm

Skin the cat rows: 2x8

The LC felt good. It got breath up but not terribly so. Grip and breathing felt good.

LC:
6 mins @ 2x24kg; 5 rpm

Run: 30 mins

Again, just trying to stay under the bells at this point without worrying about speed or competition. This felt good.

LC:
10 mins @ 2x24kg; 5 rpm

Stretch and done.

Just wanted something slow and easy. Have had very little motivation to train here lately.

Tuesday, April 5, 2011

LC:
3x 3 mins @ 2x24kg; 9 rpm

Jog: 5 laps

This was rough. Lost breath each time about half way through the last minute. Form was ugly on the last 3-4 reps but it was still solid.

OALC:
3x 6 mins @ 24kg; 10 rpm

L-Chins: 2x5

Sunday, April 3, 2011

LC:
5 mins @ 2x24kg; 7 rpm

Jerk:
3 mins @ 2x24kg; 12 rpm

Jog: 5 laps around the back part of the property; approx 8 mins (1.25 miles???)

LC felt pretty good. I am still running outta breath and having issues with cycling my breathing but its getting better. I think I might be able to go 6 mins @ that pace but it would be tiring fo'sho.

Jerks are still fatiguing my grip. Tried to be very observant of where exactly it was fatiguing and it is just 2 fingers over and down from the elbow at the "head" of the forearm muscles. I actually massaged this area today and while it hurt, they feel much better. Also I am noticing a lot more transfer of power and better placement of my elbows. I actually have bruises starting on my abs from the catching the bells.
